Important Notice:
By booking a service, the Client acknowledges that deep cleaning involves high-heat components and gas-fed systems. You agree to the following limitations of liability.
1. Scope of Service & "As-Is" Condition
GTAGRILLPROS provides professional cleaning and cosmetic restoration. We do not provide gas line repairs, structural welding, or internal manifold repairs. All services are performed on an "As-Is" basis. Cleaning heavy carbonization may reveal pre-existing holes, rust-through, or structural failures previously hidden by grease. GTAGRILLPROS is not responsible for these pre-existing conditions.
2. Pre-Existing Damage & Components
BBQ components (igniters, ceramic electrodes, burner tubes, and heat shields) naturally degrade over time due to extreme heat and oxidation.
- Fragile Parts: GTAGRILLPROS is not liable for the failure of aged, brittle, or rusted components that break during the normal course of a deep clean.
- Cosmetic Finishes: While we use non-abrasive methods, we are not liable for the flaking of pre-existing damaged paint or the pitting of stainless steel caused by previous lack of maintenance.
3. Gas Safety & Inspections
Our technicians perform a Visual Safety Check only. We are not TSSA-licensed gas fitters. If a leak or safety hazard is suspected, we will advise the Client to shut off the gas and contact a licensed professional. GTAGRILLPROS shall not be held liable for any gas-related incidents, fires, or leaks occurring after the service is completed.
4. Limitation of Liability (The "Hold Harmless" Clause)
5. Client Responsibilities (Access & Utilities)
The Client must ensure the BBQ is cool to the touch at least 2 hours prior to arrival. A functioning outdoor water source and safe workspace are required. If we arrive and the BBQ is in operation or inaccessible, a $75.00 CAD Service Call Fee will apply.
6. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if the appliance is deemed structurally unsafe, infested with vermin, or if the workspace poses a health hazard to our technicians. In such cases, the Client will be charged for the travel time only.
7. Final Acceptance & Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion. By paying the invoice, the Client confirms they have inspected the work and find it satisfactory. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued once the technician has left the property.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any legal disputes arising from our service shall be settled via binding arbitration in the Region of Peel/Toronto, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees.
